About Claude Makélélé

Arriving at Paris Saint-Germain in 2008, Claude Makélélé quickly established himself as a key figure in midfield, thanks to his experience and vision of the game. Over three seasons wearing the Red & Blue jersey, the midfielder played 118 matches and scored one goal across all competitions. A leader both on and off the field, he brought his leadership and sense of teamwork. The French international (71 caps between 1995 and 2008) notably contributed to the pursuit of a French Cup, a title won with the club in 2010.
