Harborough Town confirm sudden exit of former Leicester City forward
Terell Pennant has left Harborough Town with immediate effect to explore different opportunities elsewhere.
The Bees announced Pennant’s decision on Thursday, with the 23-year-old uncontent with his game time at the start of the new campaign.

Pennant has played just two minutes in Harborough’s opening four National League North fixtures despite impressing in pre-season.
The attacking midfielder leaves only nine months after joining the club, though he made his impact known last term as he helped Harborough to the Southern League Premier Central title.
In truth, Britt Assombalonga, Riley O’Sullivan, Sam Osborne, Callum Powell, Michael Jacobs and Dempsey Arlott-John were all ahead of Pennant for minutes so far in 2026/27.
It’s not too much of a surprise, therefore, that Pennant has taken the call to move on to become more of a guaranteed starter.
In a statement, @HarbTownFC posted: “The club would like to place on record its thanks to TP for his contribution during his time at the Beehive, including playing his part in last season’s historic promotion-winning campaign, and wish him every success for the future.”
Formerly of Leicester City’s academy, Pennant is the brother of Brackley Town forward Kian Pennant and the nephew of ex-Liverpool, Arsenal and Birmingham City star Jermaine Pennant.
No new club has been announced just yet for the now former Harborough attacker, though there’s bound to be interest – whether that be in Step 2 or Step 3.
Pennant, who previously turned out for the likes of Coalville Town, Rushall Olympic, Kettering Town and Alfreton Town, will decide his next club in the near future.
