Oliver Bonas could move into former TG Jones shop in Market Harborough
Lifestyle brand Oliver Bonas is eyeing up the former TG Jones store on Market Harborough’s High Street after submitting an application to the council.
The company has sent in plans for new signage outside the vacant retail property.

The shop has been there since 1991 when it opened as a WH Smith store.
In June 2025, Modella Capital took over the high street chain – rebranding to TG Jones, which closed in September.
Now, it could have a new lease of life if Harborough District Council approves the proposals.
The plans state: “Oliver Bonas believe that the new shopfront will sit very comfortably with other shopfronts in the High Street, and that the high quality materials and finish, adopting a traditional style and detailing will be sympathetic to the conservation area.”
