Harborough passengers warned about delays after incident on railway
People catching trains from Market Harborough are being warned about disruption after a incident on the railway earlier this afternoon (Friday).
East Midlands Railway closed one of its lines after a person was hit by a train between Leicester and East Midlands Parkway. The line has now reopened between the stations but delays are expected.

The rail operator said: “Trains can now run between Leicester and East Midlands Parkway in both directions. However, trains will continue to be delayed and altered while we work to recover our adveristed timetable. “We expect our advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by 5pm.”
