Harborough 45s continue winning streak with 2-0 victory away at Burbage

It was another successful day at the office for Harborough Town 45s, who continue to be the club's only senior team to maintain a 100 per cent win record with a comfortable away win to Burbage.

Despite only going over with 13 players, Harborough had an easy afternoon and were in control for the duration of the game. Their two goals came in the first six minutes with striker Scott Munton involved in both.

Firstly, Munton drew a penalty that was slotted home by Chris Brylka and then he finished himself from close range shortly after.

The rest of the game consisted of Harborough creating chance after chance, but surprisingly no further goals were scored. Burbage defended well with a tight and deep defence behind the ball, and their keeper pulled out some remarkable saves.

At the other end, Harborough's defence had little to do. Keeper Dan Church did not have one save to make, resulting in yet another clean sheet.

Burbage showed themselves to be the most gracious of hosts both on and off the pitch, and this is always a fixture that Harborough look forward to playing.

The next game is at home against Highfield Rangers on Saturday, October 31. Like Harborough, Highfield are yet to drop points, so the Bees will need to be ready for a physical and challenging game. Entrance for that one is free.
