Cormorant released after being found wandering around Market Harborough

An underweight cormorant that was found wandering around the centre of Market Harborough has been released into the wild after being cared for by a wildlife hospital.
Staff at Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital, based in Kibworth, said the bird weighed around half of what she should have when she arrived at the centre.
The cormorant was released along the canal earlier this week after spending a few weeks regaining weight and strength.
