New beauty and wellness collective to launch inside historic Great Glen station building
A new beauty and wellness business is set to open in Great Glen next month, with a special launch event inviting the local community to experience the space for the first time.
The Station House Collective will officially launch on Saturday 9 May, hosting an evening event at its home inside the Old Station House on Station Road.
Running from 4pm to 8pm, the event will give guests a first look at the newly transformed space, alongside drinks, nibbles and the chance to meet the team behind the concept. Exclusive opening night offers will also be available, with a number of local influencers expected to attend.
The Station House Collective has been created by experienced hair professionals Jody Cross and Ben White, who bring more than 40 years of combined industry experience to the new venture.
Jody Cross said: “After more than 20 years in the industry, I wanted to create a space that feels genuinely different. Not rushed, not transactional, but somewhere people can take a bit of time for themselves and feel looked after from the moment they walk in.
“The building played a huge part in that. It already has so much character, and we have been really thoughtful about how we’ve brought it back to life while keeping that sense of warmth. It feels calm, welcoming, and a little bit special, which is exactly what we wanted.”
Ben White added: “We have both worked in traditional salon environments for a long time, and we felt there was an opportunity to do something more considered. The idea behind the collective is to bring together great people, great services and a really positive atmosphere, all in one place.
“Being in Great Glen was also really important to us. It is a strong local community, and we wanted to create somewhere people feel comfortable coming regularly, whether that is for a treatment, an event, or just to take a bit of time out.”
Initially, the collective will offer a range of hair and beauty services, with plans to expand into additional wellbeing treatments and events over time.
The launch event is open to guests, with those interested encouraged to register their interest in advance.
