More than 4,800 knitted poppies used in Remembrance display inside Harborough Market
Thousands of handmade poppies have been used to create a fantastic display inside of Harborough Market as the town marks Remembrance Day.
Craft-I-Trims, a trader inside the market, called on the community to knit and crochet poppies and squares.

More than 4,800 individual flowers were made by people between the ages of five and 96.
It took the team four days to assemble the display with includes two life-size soldiers, a dog covered in purple poppies and a giant Spitfire.
Craft-I-Trims said: “It is nice to see people enjoy it.
"[The plane] took months to sew together. The customers have got something to be proud of.”
