Discounts on driving experiences for teens range from Suzuki Swift to Lamborghini ahead of Christmas

Driving is an essential life skill and youngsters can get a vital head start learning before being old enough to begin driving lessons.

In fact, from the tender age of just nine, children can have a driving taster session on the safety of a dual-control car at one of 67 locations across the UK and all for £44.

It could make a great Christmas present for those struggling to find gifts for teen children or grandchildren.

The deal offers a 20% discount on the regular Young Driver Training prices, according to the Wowcher website. What’s more, the instructors are government-approved professionals and can accommodate youngsters with special needs.

Young participants can even get a video of the lesson to boot but this costs an additional £11.

One buyer said: “Great customer service when I needed to call them. Looking forward to my son’s driving experience.”

For extra fun and adrenaline and that could include older members of the family, there are also supercar experiences available up and down the country, offering children of ten or older and adults a chance to drive cars such as the Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari 360, Ferrari 348, Audi R8, Aston Martin DB9, Nissan GTR, and Porsche 911.

There is a choice of three, six or nine laps with up to three cars, priced from £37 for the basic package available at 30 circuits across the UK.

As an alternative option, with Red Letter Days, there is an offer on Everyman Racing with the chance to choose to drive three cars from a selection of more than 60 vehicles and get a high-speed passenger ride to boot.

It’s reduced to £96 with the code GIFT20 and you can find out more here. Virgin Experience Days has Aston Martin Driving Experiences, currently reduced from £218 to £70.
