Trains moving again after vehicle hits railway bridge between Kettering and Harborough

A vehicle struck a railway bridge just north of Kettering, causing delays to trains in both directions.

But a short time ago a statement from East Midlands Railway said the lines have reopened, the bridge has been examined and no damage found.

The train company said to expect residual delays while it worked on putting the timetable back together.

Passengers who are delayed can claim refunds here.
