Staff and members of Market Harborough Building Society raised thousands of pounds for the regional Air Ambulance charity

Staff and members of Market Harborough Building Society have raised £8,370 for the life-saving regional Air Ambulance charity.

“This donation was made up of the balances on Save and Support accounts and the time employees gave for the Society’s November Challenge,” said the society.

Workers set out to clock up mile after mile walking, running, swimming or cycling in the daunting November Challenge after they voted to support the Air Ambulance team.

Some 46 members of staff took part in the tough fundraising event as they racked up a remarkable 3,830 miles between them.

Voting for the Charity of the Year 2021 will begin at the Society’s Annual General Meeting.
