Forget Rambo, this Market Harborough bobby was more like Lambo when he leapt into action to rescue this stranded sheep

Leicester City keeper Kasper Schmeichel would have been proud as PC Steve Winn, 36, caught the stray lamb with a brilliant dive by a busy country road.

Steve grabbed the runaway sheep on the A4304 between Lubenham and Theddingworth after spotting it as he was out on his beat.

The lamb dashed on and off the road before the lightning-fast cop grabbed the animal in the hedge.

Steve, an officer for 17 years, quickly popped it back in the field to be reunited with its bleating mum.
