Motorcyclist suffers 'life-changing' injuries following crash involving two cars near Lutterworth

The man suffered “life-changing” injuries after the three-vehicle smash on the busy A4304.

He is being treated in hospital in Coventry as specialist police officers investigate the crash, police said.

The serious accident happened in Station Road, North Kilworth, at about 11am on Bank Holiday Monday.

“It was reported to have involved two cars and a motorcycle,” said Leicestershire Police.

“Officers attended alongside the East Midlands Ambulance Service and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.

“The motorcyclist - a man - was taken to hospital in Coventry by ambulance to be treated for injuries that were described as life-changing.

“He remains in hospital.

“The road which was closed has since been re-opened.

“Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the collision are continuing.”
