The two-vehicle crash happened on the busy A47 near Tugby just before 6pm on Tuesday evening.

All three 999 services raced to the scene after the motorcyclist was involved in the smash with the tractor towing a trailer.

The accident sparked serious traffic disruption as the road was shut for over three hours as it was cleared of debris and a police investigation launched.
