The Bees take on Sporting Khalsa at the Harborough Town Community Ground on Saturday as they bid to build on two fine wins in their last two outings in the Northern Premier League Midlands.

Having seen off Loughborough Dynamo 3-0 in their last home game, Harborough went one better last weekend with a superb 4-0 derby-day win in front of over 700 fans at Corby Town.

Goals from James Ireland, Dan Cooper, Ethan Johnston and Joel Carta sealed the points for Austin’s team who face another tough challenge this weekend when they host fourth-placed Sporting Khalsa.

The last time the two teams met in October, Harborough were on the end of a heavy 5-1 away defeat.

And Austin is hoping his team can “return the favour” on Saturday.

“They (Khalsa) are a great club with a great gaffer,” the Bees boss said.

“That defeat there sent us on a bit of a downward spiral and our heads went down with things not going our way.

“So we will try to return the favour. We are bang in form and we will go and do our jobs again and, if we do, we will hopefully get a positive outcome.”
