UPDATE: Police on scene after accident closed busy road
The A426 Rugby Road was closed and there was slow traffic in both directions after an accident.
The incident happened between the Frank Whittle Island and Gibbet Island earlier this afternoon.
Police were on the scene directing traffic.
The road has now re-opened.
