Lutterworth lit up on Friday evening at the annual town Christmas lights switch on.

The event included Santa’s grotto, a fun fair, mulled wine, a hog roast and on-stage entertainment.

The switch on was followed by the traditional fireworks display, sponsored by Hill’s Alarm Services Ltd, while new for this year was a Christmas Market, with at least themed stalls, held in the old Co-op/Wood Burner Workshop car park on George Street.
