Man arrested for having a replica gun

Police were called to the village after a confrontation in Hillcrest Avenue between a group of people at about 10pm last night (Wednesday).

Officers said nobody at the scene was injured and that the replica firearm was found inside a house.

A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm or imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.
