Harborough store conjures up a lot of Potter

Visitors to a Harborough opticians came face to face with Ron Weasley and played Quidditch as the store transformed into a magical Harry Potter themed day.

The team at Specsavers in St Mary’s Road dressed as witches and wizards from the books, alongside a real-life Ron Weasley look-alike, to host the themed day.

During the day, customers added to the atmosphere by transforming themselves into their favourite characters with a face painter.

Outside the store, customers with a sweet tooth stopped at Honeyduke’s Sweets and a cake stall for Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans and Cauldron Cake.

Inside, visitors hunted for the Golden Snitch in a guess the square game, with the lucky winner awarded a trip to the Harry Potter Studios.

Store director, Barry Henning, said: “We were pleased to welcome guests to the Specsavers School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.”
