Foxton pub take part in record-breaking attempt

More than 1,450 venues across the UK took part in the World's Biggest Quiz last weekend - including Bridge 61 in Foxton (pictured above).

The plan was to break the Guinness World Record for the largest multi-venue quiz.

Each venue raised cash for their chosen charity. Bridge 61 raised £450 for the Air Ambulance, through a quiz entrance fee, a raffle and a ‘How Many In The Jar’ game.

The Bridge 61 participation was organised by Hannah Hemington and Sam Matts.

So far with feedback in from around 450 venues, a total of £63,000 has been raised.

The event was organised by national volunteer group PubAid.
