Police investigating an alleged money-laundering racket have swooped on a house in Market Harborough.

Officers carried out the dramatic raid on the terraced home in Logan Street, off Coventry Road, on Tuesday morning (Jan 14).

They conducted an exhaustive two-hour search of the property in the busy built-up residential street but didn’t make any arrests.

Shocked neighbours and passers-by looked on as police descended on the house.

Leicestershire Police said that the money-laundering investigation is “ongoing”.
