As we reported last week, thieves forced their way into the kennels between midnight and 6.30am on Friday February 12 through a neighbouring farm before stealing the dog

A pet dog stolen from boarding kennels in a Harborough village has been found safe and well this afternoon.

As we reported earlier, Logan, a three-year-old cockapoo, was taken from the kennels on Station Road, North Kilworth, last Friday night – leaving his elderly owner devastated.

Scores of dog owners and lovers across Harborough and the East Midlands immediately fired up a high-profile social media mission to track down Logan and return him to his owner as police also launched an investigation to find him.

And Harborough police said tonight: “Logan has been found safe and well.

“Thank you to everyone for helping to find Logan.”
