The surgery is telling patients on its website: “Due to Covid-19, all staff within our patient services team who answer the telephones at Kibworth Medical Centre will need to self-isolate.

“The calls will be transferred to our other sites.

“We are utilising our secretarial, administrative and management team to help with the call volume, but unfortunately, there will be an extended waiting time.

“Some appointments may also need to be cancelled but we will try to keep these to a minimum.

“We will keep you updated via the website/Facebook on a daily basis.

“Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.”
