Especially after the country has been locked down amid the Covid-19 pandemic for a year this month and we haven’t been able to get out for love nor money.

Over 30 top films will be screened across three weeks in the exciting new initiative at Market Harborough Showground, near the Innovation business centre.

The Covid-secure feast of entertainment, the biggest in the region, will be the first event to be held at the new East Midlands Drive-In Venue.

And it’s being staged by Fleckney Events, based just a few miles up the road on Wentworth Road, Fleckney.

So you’ll be able to go along, pitch up and enjoy fantastic movies for all the family at ‘The Big Summer’ festival showing from June 8-June 30.

Comedians, singers or bands will entertain you on the big stage before the curtain goes up on the blockbuster you’re itching to see.

And you can tuck into burgers, pizza, popcorn and sweets - available to buy on site through an order and collect-style system.

A bar will be set up – and you can also take in your own food.
