Romeo and Juliet

The Core at Corby Cube will show the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Live season on Thursday, July 7 ,with Shakespeare’s heart-breaking tale of forbidden love Romeo and Juliet.

Branagh directs, as he did with Cinderella, and unites his leading man and lady, with Richard Madden playing Romeo and Lily James as Juliet.

Sir Derek Jacobi also appears in the production as Mercutio.

A longstanding feud between Verona’s Montague and Capulet families brings devastating consequences for two young lovers caught in the conflict.

The production has been updated to present a modern and passionate version of Shakespeare’s much loved tale.

The screening starts at 7pm and tickets for the showing are £13.
