Welland Tri Club duo enjoy Upton fun
Unusually, this triathlon has a river swim rather than a lake, pool or sea.
To get to the start line, the competitors had to walk 1.5km upstream and clamber down a ladder into knee-deep mud and then set off swimming downriver, while avoiding the motorised river traffic.
