The Market Harborough Men’s Darts League’s Knockout Cup saw holders Nelson B keep their league and cup double hopes alive as they defeated The Nags 20-7.

The Nelson were 7-2 up after the pairs and proceeded to win the opening five singles games.

Wins came from Andy Shillcock (160 start), Jamie Preston, Steve Brennan, Dave Claffey and Si Almey.

Harborough Cons came through comfortably against The Stag from Maidwell winning 22-5.

The Cons were 8-1 up after the pairs and there was a shut out in the singles as Adam Coe, Jasper Jenkins, Jeff Alden, John Harris, Steve Adkins and Mick Marlow racked up 14 legs for The Cons.

Dawn Jerman, Roy Green and Dan Hewitt each gained a leg for The Stag.
