Active Harborough District Sports Alliance is unable to stage its traditional annual Sports Awards Ceremony amid coronavirus restrictions.

“However, we recognise that there are still many dedicated people and organisations working hard in our community to help provide opportunities for people to keep active in unprecedented circumstances.

“As such, we are inviting nominations from the residents of our district to tell us who has been a standout Active Harborough Hero for you?

“In partnership with Harborough Lotto and Everyone Active, our headline sponsors, we are asking you to get your thinking caps on,” said the alliance.

“Maybe they fit in to the traditional category criteria for your sportsperson / junior sportsperson of the year?

“Have they used a physical activity challenge to help raise funds for a local charity?

“Perhaps they have created online content that has really helped you to stay motivated?”
