Shoppers are rushing to grab this half-price Ring doorbell, now just £49.99 in one of Amazon’s biggest deals right now

Here's an opportunity to buy a Ring Doorbell for half price - while the deal lasts.

Amazon has knocked 50% off the price of two versions of its most popular video doorbell, and more than 5,000 people have snapped one up in the last month alone.

Normally costing £100, the Wireless Ring Battery Video Doorbell is a doddle to install, and it will alert you whenever someone comes to the door, sending an image to your phone or smart display.

If you can catch the deal before April 15, you can get one in either Satin Nickel or Venetian Bronze for just £49.99 - and that's the cheapest it's been since Black Friday.

Ring doorbells work fine straight out of the box, but to get all the features, including saving videos, person identification, and customisable alerts, you'll need to sign up to a Ring Subscription.

This costs at least £4.99 per month, but you'll be able to try it out for 30 days for free, because the doorbell comes with a trial.

Amazon Prime members get free delivery on eligible items. Non-Prime customers may pay delivery charges depending on the order.
