Wildlife spotters invited to popular locks this month
The event is open to people of any age.
Derek Harris, from the Foxton Inclined Plane Trust, said: “Come along to Foxton Locks on either of the two days – and bring your family and friends with you, the more, the merrier.
“All ages are welcome from the very young to the more mature.

“Make a note of all the wildlife you see – the flora and the fauna that abound around the locks and in the close vicinity.
“Then stop by the BoilerHouse on your way home and report what you have seen.”
The results of the Big Foxton Wildlife Watch will form the basis of the BoilerHouse display for next summer called Waterway Wildlife.

The locks’ museum reopened earlier this month.
