Two busy roads in Harborough are to temporarily close for resurfacing

Many motorists will be affected by the roadworks

Two busy roads in Market Harborough are to temporarily close for resurfacing.

Welland Park Road will be shut to drivers between 9am and 3pm this Friday (March 26) to allow work to go ahead.

And the busy stretch of Kettering Road between Gores Lane and Coleridge Way in Little Bowden will be sealed off for four days from Tuesday April 6 from 7.30am until 6pm each day.

The vital ‘carriageway patching works’ will be carried out by Leicestershire County Council.

The authority is apologising for any inconvenience and say diversions will be signposted.
