Traffic and travel: Harborough road set to be close for one day next month

A road in Great Bowden is set to be shut for one day in June to allow manhole maintenance work to be carried out in the street.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for Upper Green Place, off the Main Street in the village near Market Harborough, on Monday June 7.

“The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to facilitate manhole maintenance works,” said the county council.

“The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

“The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of one day commencing on the 7th June 2021.”
