Three-vehicle collision led to road closure near Harborough

Three vehicles were involved in a crash on the A6 near Desborough today (Friday) – as the busy route was closed by police.

A Volkswagen Polo, Hyundai Tucson and a van collided by the Desborough Road/Braybrooke Road roundabout at about 10am.

No one is thought to have been seriously hurt in the incident.

A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman said: “Paramedics have been treating the drivers at the scene but we don’t believe there are any serious injuries.”

Long queues of traffic quickly built up stretching towards junction 3 of the A14 as the road was sealed off as the 999 emergency services worked at the scene.
