Parked cars are forcing a popular town bus service in Harborough to change its route
Many more parked cars are forcing a popular town bus service in Market Harborough to change its traditional route.
The number 33 bus is now following a rejigged course through Market Harborough after years because parked vehicles are blocking access.

The 33 bus will no longer serve Northleigh Grove, Logan Street and Highcross Street, off Coventry Road.
And it will not be calling at the stop on nearby Wartnaby Street, adjacent to Morley Street.
The crucial service is operated by Centrebus on behalf of Leicestershire County Council.

So it will not be stopping outside St Joseph’s School and passengers boarding near Logan Street should now use the stop on the Welland Park side of the road.
A notice put up on bus stops tells people: “The route change is necessary as congestion, caused by an increase in parked cars, has meant that some streets have become inaccessible to buses.”
