Major town centre road in Harborough will be closed at the end of February

A major town centre road will be closed at the end of the month.

Engineers working on behalf of Harborough District Council will be carrying out CCTV maintenance work in Coventry Road on Monday February 24 from 9.30am-11.30am.

This will mean that Coventry Road, in Market Harborough, will be closed to traffic from The Square/High Street junction to the entrance to the Commons Car Park, for about two hours.

The Commons car park will remain open during the works.

Traffic will be diverted via Northampton Road and Welland Park Road

Harborough District Council says the work is essential and that it "apologises for any inconvenience caused whilst this important work is undertaken".
