Main road through village near Harborough will be shut for three days this week

Drivers will face a long diversion as East Farndon will effectively be sealed off as vital water works are carried out.

Harborough Road will be closed either side of the junctions with The Lealand and Main Street from today to Thursday.

Motorists will be diverted via the main A508 road through the neighbouring village of Clipston and vice-versa.

Anglian Water is carrying out the work to install a water connection to a new house in East Farndon.
