Hundreds of drivers from across South Leicestershire and Northamptonshire were caught up in long traffic tailbacks after a crash on the A14 this morning.
Two cars and a lorry collided between junction 2 of the A14 at Kelmarsh, near Market Harborough, and junction 3, the A6 turn-off near Rothwell.
Police say no one was injured in the three-vehicle collision just before 7.45am as ambulances also attended the incident as a precaution.
The road was finally reopened by 9am after rush-hour motorists faced long delays as police cleared away debris and launched an investigation at the scene.
