A busy road in Market Harborough is to be shut for three nights next week following the May Bank Holiday weekend as essential drainage works go ahead.

Scotland Road in Little Bowden, Market Harborough, will be closed from Tuesday May 4 for three nights running from 8pm at night to 6am the next morning.

“The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Network Rail to facilitate drainage works,” said Leicestershire County Council.

Drivers will have to follow a diversion set up via Bellfield Lane, Kettering Road, Rectory Lane and vice versa.
