Spring bloom of new shops in town centre
The new restaurant is Taste Social - a modern Chinese dim sum restaurant on St Mary’s Road, linked to the well-established Han restaurant.
Manager Athena Kyriacou said: “People are loving the food - it’s so different, and there’s a good buzz here, which I think is really important.”

The tiny but pretty Home of Angels, which sells beautiful flowers, artwork - and decorative angels of course - has moved from the Indoor Market after just six months to a permanent shop on The Square.
The jewellery and accessories shop Silverpot has moved from Church Square into much larger premises on Coventry Road, where the Bridal Shop used to be.
Out of the town centre, decorating store Kent Blaxill has opened a Market Harborough branch - its 14th store altogether.

Hide AdThe 2,900 square feet branch is in the Welland Business Park, Valley Way (off Rockingham Road).
Finally, B&M Retail Ltd, which already has a food store in the town centre, has opened a large store in the former Focus premises off Rockingham Road.
The latest B&M store will concentrate on DIY goods, building materials and garden supplies.
