The Armed Forces community across Harborough is now able to access a range of help and support thanks to improved online resources.

Information on health, finance, housing, education, support organisations, discounts, offers and more, is available at the click of a mouse.

You can view the new web pages at www.harborough.gov.uk/armedforcesA year ago Harborough council launched its Military Survey findings at a special event at the Symington Building following a consultation with the Armed Forces Community.

The study was carried out in partnership with Rutland County Council and South Kesteven District Council.

“In response to the findings a number of actions have been ongoing to address the issues raised and provide further support to those who need it,” said Harborough council.

Cllr Rani Mahal, Harborough council’s Armed Forces Champion, said: “This is a fantastic source of information for those people within in the Armed Forces Community.

“A huge amount of work has gone into collating this information and sharing it online.

“It will provide valuable advice, signposting and support - especially at this challenging time.”
