A man was spotted by police defecating by the side of the road near Lutterworth - and vaulted a fence when officers approached him.
The incident happened today (Saturday Jan 16) near to to Ullesthorpe.
A spokesperson for Lutterworth police said: "On seeing police he vaulted a fence and ran off forgetting to take his vehicle with him!
"The joys of modern policing!
The vehicle has now been seized.
