Organisers of The Core Dance Company in Market Harborough have announced the good news after they put an appeal to find a new venue for their show, after The Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering announced its unexpected closure.

But now the theatre says there has been an extension on the closure, which means The Core Dance Company's show on July 1-2 can now go ahead - and it will be the last show at the venue.

"Following a meeting with the Lighthouse Theatre, we are thrilled to announce we have a venue again!," said Core Dance Company owner Jess Vaughan.

"We are so lucky to have the most amazing families and community around us that have rallied around, pushed and signed petitions to get our gorgeous students back smiling on stage - and it’s worked!"

Jess added: "We are praying that someone will come forward and save the theatre before July 3."
