Staff in Husbands Bosworth get on their bikes and raise money for Children in Need

An impressive 13 members of the team at Brook House Care Home in Husbands Bosworth clocked up 100 miles in the three and a half hour static session.

And they’ve raked in £213.11 for iconic Pudsey Bear after doing wheely well on Friday November 15.

Managing director Krishna Patel said: “We had a brilliant day.

“Our staff were superb.

“I’d also to thank our wonderful residents and their relatives for their generous donations for a fantastic cause.”

The titanic challenge was kicked off at 10am by manager Michelle Hood and deputy manager Emily Baker.

And it was finished by 1.30pm by Alison Maas dressed as the one and only Pudsey.

“It was a really upbeat, happy day.

“The residents all enjoyed watching and supporting the staff who were participating,” said Krishna.

“We had two exercise bikes set up in the lounge of the home.

“Some staff did more miles than others but it was a huge team effort and everyone cheered each other.

“We had music playing in the background and residents were there cheering us on.”
