Shoppers grab a real bargain at freecycling event in Harborough
Lin Ball, who helps to run the church’s Eco Church initiative, said: “About 50 people turned up for our event last Saturday and it went really well.
“We get everything from clothes to tools to toys, saucepans and cups handed in – and it’s all free.

She said every little helps in the battle to save our planet.
“It’s so much better to see people delighted to take away a coat or crash helmet that would have been thrown away,” said Lin, of Harborough.
“It makes you feel so good to do people such a good turn.
“And we donate what ever we have left to charity shops here in the town centre.
“Everyone’s a winner.”
Freecycling mornings are held every two months at St Dionysius so keep an eye out for the next walk in and take home event.
