A special effort is going ahead in Kibworth this week to help highlight and showcase Children's Mental Health Week.

A host of well-being activities involving both pupils and staff are taking place at Kibworth Primary School to support their mental health amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“As part of our effort to help raise awareness of children's mental health we are hoping as many people as possible join in with the well-being wave.

People are being asked to get a bit of paper, draw around your hand and then fill it in with some nice bright colours or inspirational words.People are being asked to get a bit of paper, draw around your hand and then fill it in with some nice bright colours or inspirational words.

“It’s a simple concept.

“Just get a bit of paper, draw around your hand and then fill it in with some nice bright colours or inspirational words,” said Kibworth Well-Being Team.

“Then pop it up in your window this week for the world to see!

“The idea then is that when you’re out walking you can spot them in windows.
