Voluntary groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations were in the town centre this weekend for the popular Community and Volunteers Fair.

Many people found out more about the organisations and signed up as volunteers.

They were joined by Harborough MP Neil O'Brien, who said: “It was brilliant to be joined by so many local groups, organisations and charities to showcase the amazing work they do across Harborough and beyond.

"We’ve seen during the course of the pandemic how invaluable their work is to so many people for very different reasons. Many are in need of more volunteers, so I’d certainly encourage people to get in touch with the different groups and charities to learn more about their work and how to get involved. I’d like to thank Harborough District Council for their support with this event, which we hope to do again next year, having had to unfortunately cancel last year.”

Our photographer Andrew Carpenter was there to capture the event on camera. Here are some of his photos.
