How you can do your bit in Harborough to help refugees and homeless people

Please do your best to help refugees and homeless people, a Market Harborough charity is urging.

Harborough Twenty 12 Lions club is requesting second-hand items for Harborough Helping Refugees, Y homeless shelter in Leicester and Northampton Hope centre.

Lions Club volunteers will be at Harborough FM offices on Fernie Road between 4pm and 6pm on Friday (Nov 15) to collect donations.

They are urgently appealing for:

Items for a newborn baby boy, including clothes, bedding, moses basket and a sling.

Men's underwear

Men's jogging bottoms

Socks and men's trainers

sleeping bags.
