“Rather than just sit about doing nothing, and bearing in mind we are central to our local community, we recognised we are in a strong position when compared to the vulnerable and less fortunate members of our community,” said club president Martyn Holmes.
“And we therefore decided upon trying to help those in need of some cheer and help at this difficult time in our lives.
“Through a combination of monetary donations, people donating their time and produce and a great team effort we have been able to help three projects.

“He has done such great work in the local community during the various lockdown periods over the last year,” said Martyn.
Stretching all the way back to 1872, the club has donated £500 to Lutterworth & Villages Foodbank.
