The group has been running a dedicated phone line to support people who need help across the Market Harborough area.

They have also picked up and delivered over 400 prescriptions to vulnerable people.

Lion Jane Clarke said: “We would like to thank everyone who has made donations to Lions charities.

“This service has recently been suspended, but will be reinstated it if it becomes necessary.

“We are also continuing our all-weather marshalling of the town’s medical centre car park every Friday that there are Covid vaccine clinics.

“It’s great to experience the positive community spirit on vaccine days,” said Jane.

“We really appreciate everyone’s patience and good humour, especially at busy times when queues are long and the car parking challenging!"

The local Lions are also welcoming new members, including Alan and Linda Reed who recently joined and were put straight to work = as you can see from this picture!
