A Market Harborough yoga teacher is set to stage a free online-taster session for people suffering long Covid, chronic fatigue or stress.

Una Bentley has been teaching a wide range of classes since 2010.

They include therapeutic sessions for people with serious health issues such as multiple sclerosis.

“I’m acting now because I’m responding to the needs of those hit hard physically and mentally by the Covid pandemic,” said Una.

“I have just undergone further intensive training to deepen my understanding and knowledge about its impact on people’s health and well-being.

“And I’m now planning to hold regular weekly sessions for them.

“These are online restorative sessions.

“They are aimed at helping you to learn how to adjust your energy levels in order to assist the natural healing process of the Mind-Body - and transform your exhausted system back into healthy balance.

“They can be practised lying down or seated - and will include a mixture of gentle movements, mindful breathing patterns and relaxation.

“They are suitable for anyone suffering with the effects of chronic fatigue caused by the likes of the coronavirus, multiple sclerosis, M.E., fibromyalgia or general malaise caused by stress/burn-out.”

Una will be staging her free taster session from 12 midday until 12.45pm on Thursday April 15 on Zoom.

Following this, the cost will be £4.50 a session.
